Epilation with alexandrite laser Quanta System Duetto MT EVO® (Italy) (soon)

The main indication for alexandrite laser epilation is the patient’s desire to get rid of hair. The alexandrite laser acts on the cells with the dark colouring pigment melanin, which is contained in the hair, its bulbs and in the skin. The energy created by the laser beam is absorbed by the hair follicle, after which it is heated and destroyed. Laser treatment not only helps to remove hair, but also significantly slows down its growth, because under the thermal effect of the laser seals capillaries that nourish the hair.

Alexandrite epilation is a method of non-contact removal of unwanted hair using Quanta System Duetto MT EVO® (Italy)-the newest laser system that uses only Mixt technology combination of Alexandrite and Nd: YAG laser that allows:

• to remove not only dark hair, light hair and down hair;
• removing hair on all skin types I-IV;
• the number of treatments and the time of the procedure for hair removal is reduced with the help of Quanta System Duetto MT EVO® technology (Italy);
• the full effect of Alexandrite laser hair removal lasts up to 10 years.

• facial hair removal – forehead, interbrow, cheeks, sideburns, cheekbones, upper lip, chin, neck and chin angle, neck and ear lobes;
• arm epilation – forearms, elbows, hands, wrists and fingers;
• epilation of the axillae;
• epilation of the chest for men;
• back epilation – shoulder blades, sacrum and lumbar area;

Refrain from sunbathing and going to the solarium at least two weeks before the procedure.

Refuse other methods of hair removal that traumatise the hair follicle (e.g. waxing and shugaring).

Shave hair 1 – 3 days before the laser hair removal procedure. This will help the device to target the follicles more effectively.

Do not use deodorants, oils, creams and alcohol lotions on the treated area before the procedure. Because of the layer of cosmetic products, the special composition that the specialist applies to the skin before the procedure may not work or may react unplanned with the products previously applied to the skin.

Do not carry out the procedure while taking antibiotics of the tetracycline group.

It is not recommended to use self-tanning products for 7 – 10 days before the session (they contain pigment that can reduce the effectiveness of the procedure).

Alexandrite laser epilation does not provide complex recovery measures. To achieve maximum effect, it is recommended to follow a number of recommendations. In particular, it is forbidden to carry out traumatic procedures and additional measures of hair removal (shaving, shugaring, waxing, etc.) between sessions. In the first few days it should be refused to visit the bath, sauna, swimming pool, open water, moreover, it is recommended to postpone taking a hot shower. Do not visit a solarium or take sunbaths in natural sunlight for several weeks after the procedure.
